Qualifications

• 2+ years fundraising or donor relations experience in nonprofit settings.
• Proficiency with donation software/CRM (Raiser’s Edge or similar).
• Excellent writing and editing skills with keen attention to detail.
• Experience with Canva, social media, and basic photography.
• Confident, kind, and gracious demeanor; ability to build donor relationships.
• Professional phone and email etiquette and personalized donor correspondence.
• Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
• Highly organized and self-directed with a collaborative spirit.
• Event coordination experience is a plus.
• Interest in grant research and writing; willingness to learn.
• Ability to commute to West Bloomfield, Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Identify, cultivate, and solicit donors for gifts; maintain donor relationships.
• Write personalized donor thank-you notes and correspondence.
• Create newsletters and assist with website updates; support social media.
• Maintain donor records in Raiser's Edge; ensure accurate data.
• Assist with donor events, logistics, and post-event follow-up.
• Support grant writing, research, and reporting to foundations/government.
• Coordinate meetings with stakeholders and volunteers.
