Job summary

Easterseals Bluegrass is seeking a Development and Donor Relations Manager to advance our mission through strategic fundraising, donor engagement, and communications. You will lead donor cultivation, annual giving programs, events, and stewardship to strengthen relationships and support long-term philanthropic growth.

You will collaborate with the Director of Development and executive leadership to implement campaigns, manage the donor database, and develop impact communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, nonprofit management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of nonprofit development, fundraising, or communications experience.
• Proven success in donor relations, fundraising campaigns, sponsorships, and communications initiatives.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop donor engagement programs and campaigns in partnership with the Director to strengthen community connections.
• Manage annual giving campaigns and recurring giving initiatives.
• Develop donor communications, appeals and campaign materials; track revenue and retention.
• Oversee donor stewardship including acknowledgments, reports, and recognition.
• Manage signature fundraising events logistics, sponsorships, and post-event follow-up.
• Maintain donor database/CRM accuracy and segmentation for campaigns and reports.
• Collaborate with leadership to align development efforts with organizational goals.
