Job summary

Easterseals Southeast Pennsylvania seeks a Senior Director of Development and Marketing to lead fundraising and communications, reporting to the CEO. You will drive revenue targets across major gifts, annual giving, campaigns, and events while building donor stewardship, corporate partnerships, and cause marketing.

This role requires 5–8+ years in fundraising with marketing leadership, a Bachelor’s degree, CFRE preferred, and a proven track record of growing contributions above $1 million.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree and/or CFRE highly preferred.
• 5-8+ years in fundraising, development with some marketing leadership.
• Proven ability to generate significant revenue and lead high-performing teams.
• Demonstrated ability to grow contributed revenues in excess of $1 million.
• Must have Microsoft Suite and other related Development Software proficiency.
• Strong communication and external relationship-building skills.
• Excellent writing and organizational skills.
• Must have reliable transportation to get to various locations as required.
• Must provide All Required Clearances for this position.

Responsibilities

• Lead fundraising strategies across major gifts, annual giving, campaigns, special events, capital fundraising, and planned giving.
• Own and achieve organizational revenue targets and pipeline development.
• Manage a portfolio of high-value donors and prospects.
• Build and oversee donor stewardship systems to maximize retention and lifetime value.
• Deliver measurable fundraising outcomes and financial sustainability.
• Develop and secure corporate partnerships, sponsorships, and cause-marketing initiatives.
• Expand revenue through strategic alliances and community-based engagement.
• Represent the organization in revenue-related external settings.
• Partner in building foundation and grant strategy, pipeline, and submissions.
• Align proposals with programmatic outcomes and funding priorities.
• Ensure compliance, reporting, and performance tracking.
• Lead all marketing, digital, media, and public-facing campaigns.
• Translate organizational strategy into compelling external messaging and campaigns.
• Build brand awareness, audience engagement, and market positioning.
• Oversee content, storytelling, social media, and public relations execution, in partnership with the Chief of Staff.
• Lead development infrastructure including CRM, reporting, and analytics.
• Establish KPIs, dashboards, and accountability systems.
• Build and manage high-performing development and marketing teams.
• Drive a culture of philanthropy throughout the organization.
• Performing other related administrative tasks as required.
• All other duties as assigned.
