Nova Southwestern University is seeking a Donor Relations Manager to oversee donor relations programs with a focus on cumulative donors and annual support. The role drives strategies to attract, retain and upgrade members, and collaborates with the Development Office to maintain data, reporting and recognition programs.

The position requires experience in museum and donor program management, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with integrity within the Advancement

Qualifications

• Experience in museum and membership or donor program management.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with high attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Travel willingness.
• Knowledge of AFP and CASE guidelines.
• Understanding IRS regulations on charitable giving.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data systems.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes plans for major gift donor management.
• Collaborates with leadership to create stewardship plans.
• Grow membership base and revenue; improve retention and upgrades.
• Manages donor data entry, deposits, and records.
• Oversees gift acknowledgements and reporting.
• Manages donor recognition programs and web updates.
• Assists with membership drives and renewals.
• Ensures accuracy of biographical and giving data.
• Coordinates gifts reporting with Finance and budgeting.
• Maintains tracking systems for membership activity.
• Maintains benefits tracking in coordination with marketing.
• Establishes volunteer program for donor follow-ups.
• Assists in drafting membership gift budget.
• Arranges travel for membership trips.
• Adheres to ethical principles and guidelines.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
