Job summary

Advocate Health Foundation in Concord, NC is seeking an experienced fundraising professional to advance annual giving and major gifts programs. You will build relationships with individuals, corporations and foundations to support Advocate Health facilities and patient care initiatives.

You will manage a donor portfolio, plan events, and collaborate with physicians and staff to secure substantial gifts while maintaining strong donor stewardship and community partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level college degree required.
• Three to five years professional fund development and/or related advancement experience preferred.
• Experience in health care development, not-for-profit or marketing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in day-to-day fund development and advance activities, supporting major fundraising projects and events.
• Leads selected fund development activities and annual giving programs.
• Identifies, qualifies, cultivates, solicits, and steward a portfolio of prospects and donors.
• Works with physicians to identify new grateful patient prospects and coordinates prospect management.
• Plans and implements successful fundraisers and volunteer recruitment activities.
• Oversees ongoing fund development across multiple projects and maintains alignment with Foundation goals.
• Develops and presents gift proposals driving significant annual major gifts.
• Maintains organized records for proposals and sponsorship outreach.
• Conducts donor cultivation and stewardship activities including luncheons and receptions.
• Monitors community activities to develop new fundraising projects.
• Advises volunteer-led fundraising activities conducted by friends of the Foundation.
