Job summary

Focused on the Family, located in Colorado Springs, seeks an Account Representative for Donor Relations to develop relationships and implement strategies that drive donor support and annual fundraising goals. The role emphasizes personal communication, stewardship, and prospect identification across a portfolio of 800 donors.

The position requires strong fundraising experience, church and donor engagement skills, and a commitment to Focus on the Family’s mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher; emphasis in PR/communications/marketing preferred.
• Experience in development, sales, or planned giving; strong fundraising background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represents Focus on the Family to donors, foundations, and planned givers.
• Cultivates relationships with a portfolio of donors and grows retention and average gift size.
• Identifies major donor prospects and transitions them to additional development roles.
• Maintains accurate donor communication records in the CRM.
• Participates in fundraising strategy discussions and departmental planning.
