Job summary

LifeLink Foundation seeks a Referral Responder to manage donor referrals, coordinate with hospital teams, and ensure timely donor evaluations. You will review medical records, document findings, and assist in donor pathway decisions with sensitivity to families.

Ideal candidates have clinical education and experience in ICU/ED settings, plus strong communication skills and the ability to work in high-stress environments while maintaining compliance with policies and timelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate degree in a clinical discipline.
• Paramedic certification or clinical equivalent required.
• Experience in hospital referrals, medical record review, and donor coordination preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and travel within the region.

Responsibilities

• Receive, triage, and manage incoming hospital referrals.
• Screen for donor potential and complete time-sensitive evaluations.
• Coordinate referral activity with hospital teams to ensure consistent case progression.
• Communicate case status with hospital clinicians clearly.
• Assist with donation pathways and escalation as needed.
• Maintain donor records in EMR accurately.
