Job summary

Miller-Keystone Blood Center in Bethlehem is seeking a Donor Recruitment Specialist to support donor center and blood drive communications from the Bethlehem Call Center. The position offers an hourly wage starting at $15.07/hr and includes full-time benefits.

You will schedule donor appointments, educate donors about the blood supply, and recruit donors using the Hemaconnect system while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining donor relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience preferred in sales, customer service, call centers, healthcare or related fields.
• Strong experience in Outlook, multi-line phone systems, Microsoft Office and Excel (preferred).
• Meet key performance metrics to contribute to the overall success of the team.
• Excellent communication (verbal, written, and listening) to engage with donors and employees of all backgrounds.
• Proven ability to maintain accuracy through strong attention to detail, coupled with a commitment to reliability and consistency in all tasks.
• Strong work ethic including attendance, trust, and reliability.
• A passion to work in a fast-paced environment and handle changing priorities to meet the needs of the blood center.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to donors by scheduling appointments over the phone.
