Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Donor Recruitment Specialist to support the Donor Recruitment Manager with recruiting activities. You will coordinate mobile blood drives, maintain a donor-friendly atmosphere at facilities and drives, and generate donor reports.

You will also manage donor deferral letters and supervise front desk staff, while creating targeted communications and keeping donor records confidential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
• Experience: Less than 1 year.
• TX license requirement: If moving from out of state must obtain valid TX DL within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Supervises donor center staff and directs activities at the donor room front desk.
• Coordinates mobile and in-house blood drives with teams; ensures staffing and transport.
• Formats mobile drive data for monthly reports.
• Maintains Donor Recruitment web page and promptly registers donors.
• Keeps donor files orderly and confidential; performs clerical tasks as needed.
• Ensures adequate supplies for Donor Room and Mobile activities.
• Arranges collection orders and coordinates with facilities as needed.
• Handles designated and autologous donations for shipment to other facilities.
• Implements total donor experience and encourages donor appreciation.
• Oversees donor appreciation notes and first-time donor follow-up calls.
• Collaborates on donor items and coordinates annual donor banquet.
