Job summary

Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare seeks a System Donor Prospect Researcher to advance fundraising through analytical research and data stewardship. You will work with leadership and frontline fundraisers to identify prospects, develop cultivation strategies, and ensure accurate, actionable information for decision making.

Qualifications

• Required - Associates Degree in Marketing, Communications, Library Science or related field.
• Preferred - Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications or Library Science.
• Experience with donor research and fundraising processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive research on individuals, corporations, and foundations to assess giving capacity and philanthropic interests.
• Prepare and maintain prospect profiles, briefings, and research reports for leadership and development officers.
• Manage prospect pools and portfolios, ensuring timely movement through the donor cycle.
• Monitor wealth indicators, engagement data, and predictive modeling tools to identify new prospects.
• Track fundraising activity and provide insights that support pipeline development and goal setting.
• Draft donor communications including acknowledgment letters, impact reports, and updates.
• Coordinate donor engagement activities such as events and site visits.
• Maintain documentation of donor interactions and ensure timely follow up.
• Generate reports and dashboards to inform leadership on donor behavior and opportunities.
• Support research standards and use of digital platforms to enhance donor engagement.
