LifeSouth Community Blood Centers, Inc. in Madison, AL is seeking a friendly Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform donor phlebotomies, register donors in IBBIS, assess eligibility, and provide outstanding service to donors and colleagues.

Starting pay ranges from $16.50 to $18.15 per hour, with benefits including PTO, health/dental/vision, HSA with employer match, retirement plan, and annual bonuses for collections; a varied schedule including nights and weekends is required.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and maintain eligibility requirements.
• Proficient with computer software applications.
• Strong teamwork and written/spoken communication.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CDL holders preferred; added compensation considered.

Aufgaben

• Perform phlebotomies and collect blood from donors per SOP.
• Register donors in the LifeSouth system (IBBIS).
• Determine donor eligibility based on interviews and procedures.
• Identify donors accurately throughout the donation process.
• Assist in recruitment and rescheduling of donors.
• Support donor conversion to automated collection when appropriate.
• Provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
