Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and LifeSouth eligibility requirements.
• Proficient with a range of computer software applications.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomies and collect blood from donors per SOP.
• Collect blood using automated instruments after training.
• Register donors in the LifeSouth system (IBBIS).
• Determine donor eligibility based on interviews and exams.
• Ensure accurate donor identification throughout donation.
