Job summary

CSL in Decatur, Georgia, is seeking a qualified clinician to evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures and to provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff.

You will interview donors, perform medical history reviews to determine suitability to donate plasma, respond to medically related questions with the Center Medical Director, review results, counsel on reactive tests, and escalate critical cases per SOPs.

Qualifications

• Must be trained in donor evaluation for pheresis procedures.
• Proficient in medical history intake and donor screening.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor suitability for automated pheresis procedures.
• Provide limited emergency medical care to donors and staff.
• Interview donors and perform medical history reviews to determine donor eligibility.
• Collaborate with Center Medical Director on donor suitability decisions.
• Review test results and determine continued donor suitability.
• Counsel donors on reactive test results and refer for follow-up when needed.
• Follow SOPs and escalate critical situations to the Center Physician.
