Job summary

B Positive Plasma - Cheltenham seeks a Medical Assistant to support donor services at our Montgomery County center. Under supervision of Center Manager and Medical/Laboratory Director, you will ensure donor suitability, perform health histories, operate testing equipment, and maintain regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include greeting donors, recording vitals, assisting with QA, inventory, and communicating issues to management. Prior health-related experience is helpful; training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Previous health-related education/experience helpful.
• Must operate essential medical/testing equipment accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register donors.
• Administer health history questionnaire.
• Set up and operate donor testing equipment.
• Record donor weight and vitals; perform quality control checks.
• Attend to donors’ needs and maintain a clean, regulatory area.
• Travel up to 25 miles for training or staffing support.
