Memphis Goodwill Inc. in Millington, TN is seeking a Donor Greeter to warmly welcome donors, assist with unloading donations, and provide tax receipts.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy in daily donation counts, loading/unloading, and keeping the drive-through and sales area neat, with adherence to safety rules and participation in training.

Responsibilities

• Greets donors within 10 seconds of arrival in a prompt, friendly and courteous manner.
• Assists donors with the unloading of donations from vehicles, trailers, etc.
• Offers and provides tax receipts to donors.
• Maintains accurate daily counts of donations.
• Processes donations according to GGC Processing Procedures.
• Uses proper safety procedures when lifting heavy items, handling sharp items, chemicals and wrapping fragile items.
• Maintains a neat, clean, and organized donation drive-through and work area.
• Reviews and utilizes current Consumer Product Safety Commission Recall publications to prevent unsafe items from being sold in the store.
• Assists customers with loading furniture and other large items.
• Removes large, purchased items from sales floor, properly tag, and store items in the appropriate will-call section for customer pick-up.
• Assists truck driver with loading and unloading truck.
• Assists with cleaning and maintain the cleanliness of the sales floor and restrooms.
• Always adheres to Memphis Goodwill safety rules.
• Attends in-service and related training as assigned by TLC.
• Other duties as assigned by the TLC and/or ATL.

Salary Range: $12.50 To $12.50 Hourly
