Job summary

Memphis Goodwill Inc. is seeking a Donor Greeter for Covington, TN. You will greet donors quickly and politely, assist with unloading donations, provide tax receipts, and help maintain an orderly donation area and drive-through.

You will follow safety rules and participate in on-site training to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities include assisting with loading furniture, counting donations, processing items per procedures, and supporting the truck team.

Qualifications

• Greet donors promptly and courteously.
• Lift items with safety procedures.
• Provide tax receipts to donors.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors within 10 seconds of arrival in a prompt, friendly and courteous manner.
• Assist donors with unloading donations from vehicles and trailers.
• Offer and provide tax receipts to donors.
• Maintain accurate daily counts of donations.
• Process donations according to GGC Processing Procedures.
• Use proper safety procedures when lifting heavy items and handling fragile items.
• Maintain a neat drive-through and work area.
• Review recalls to prevent unsafe items from being sold.
• Assist customers with loading furniture and other large items.
• Tag and store large purchased items for customer pickup.
• Assist with loading/unloading truck and keeping facilities clean.
• Attend trainings as assigned.
