Job summary

Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington in Mount Vernon, WA is seeking a Material Handler to unload donations and move goods to production areas. This role is hourly and non-exempt, reporting to the Material Handler Supervisor.

Responsibilities include sorting salvage, maintaining a clean, safe work environment, and supporting a smooth flow of donations to production. Forklift duties may be required if certified to Goodwill standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• No prior experience required.
• Ability to lift 30-40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Unload donations from containers and move goods to production areas.
• Sort donations into appropriate bins for processing.
• Maintain donor tallies and keep a clean, orderly workspace.
• Operate cardboard compactors and identify hazards.
• Support safe work practices and contribute to customer satisfaction.
