Job summary

Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is hiring a Material Handler to unload donations, move goods to production areas, and sort items for processing. The role supports a smooth production flow, uses compactors, maintains donor tallies, and upholds safety standards.

Eligible candidates should be able to lift up to 30-40 pounds, work in a warehouse environment, and collaborate with teams to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• No prior experience required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Unload donations from containers and move goods to production areas.
• Sort donations into appropriate bins for processing.
• Provide smooth flow of goods to the production floor.
• Operate cardboard compactors and identify problems.
• Maintain donor tallies and a clean work environment.
• Follow safety practices and report hazards.
• Support customer satisfaction and teamwork.
• If certified, operate forklift per Seattle Goodwill standards.
