Evergreen Goodwill is seeking a Material Handler to unload donations, sort goods, and move items to production areas. The role supports a safe, efficient warehouse workflow in outdoor and indoor environments.

No prior experience is required; candidates must be 18+, able to lift 30–40 pounds, and communicate effectively. Forklift duties may be performed if certified per Seattle Goodwill standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• No prior experience required.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30–40 pounds; outdoor/warehouse environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Unload donations and move goods to production areas.
• Sort donations into appropriate bins for processing.
• Provide a smooth flow of goods to the production floor.
• Operate cardboard compactors and identify problems.
• Maintain donor tallies and a clean work area.
• Demonstrate safe work practices and report hazards.
• Support forklift operations when certified per Seattle Goodwill standards.
