Job summary

The Nature Conservancy is seeking a Reporting & Private Awards Specialist for the Great Plains Division. This remote role supports centralized reporting, award administration, and financial reporting for private awards and donors across multiple Pods/BUs.

You will coordinate, prepare, and maintain accurate financial reports while ensuring compliance with donor and organizational standards. You’ll collaborate with Finance Directors, Development staff, and program teams to ensure timely data,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field; 3 years’ related experience.
Minimum 2 years’ experience using Workday for data entry, reporting, recruiting, and/or other functions.
Experience with accounting/financial issues and analysis.
Experience with GAAP and fund accounting principles, practices and regulations.

Responsibilities

Coordinate financial reporting for private awards and donor-funded projects.
Prepare and submit accurate financial reports per award agreements and donor requirements.
Monitor activity against approved budgets and funding restrictions.
Maintain documentation and audit support files for awarded funds.
Support standardization of reporting procedures and calendars.
