Qualifications

• Experience in a related tissue banking position or appropriate experience in a medical environment or family/social services field is preferred.
• Ability to handle a work schedule that may require response to emergency coverage.
• Physical ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to referrals to evaluate potential tissue donation.
• Complete the authorization or donor disclosure process with the next of kin.
• Perform activities associated with screening for medical suitability.
