Job summary

Versiti is seeking a Donor Specialist to provide safe, professional phlebotomy collection and an exceptional donor experience. Under supervision, you will screen donors, perform phlebotomy, and support automation processes (Alyx/Trima) while promoting a collaborative team culture.

You’ll ensure accurate records, uphold safety standards, and help recruit donors for automation programs. The role emphasizes customer service, flexibility for evening/weekend hours, and a commitment to quality care

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of relevant, people-facing experience preferred.
• Less than 1 year job-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs donor screening, mini-physical, and phlebotomy.
• Provides a service-centric donor experience with professionalism and courtesy.
• May operate automation (Alyx/Trima) and recruit donors for automation.
• Maintains equipment and accurate department records.
• Rebooks donors for future donation appointments.
