Job summary

Waukesha State Bank is seeking a donor center professional to perform donor screening (collect histories), mini-physical, and phlebotomy, delivering service-focused care and a positive donor experience.

Respond to inquiries and complaints with timely, complete responses; assist with automation (Trima, Alyx); maintain records, rebook future donations, and uphold regulatory compliance while supporting a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: Less than 1 year job-related experience; 1-3 years preferred in people-facing roles.
  • Knowledge: SOPs, safety rules, and standard operating procedures.
  • Abilities: Read/interpret documents, basic mathematical aptitude, strong attention to detail.
  • Skills: Provide consistently positive donor experiences and effective teamwork.
  • Other: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; learn computer applications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform donor screening, mini-physical, and phlebotomy with service excellence.
  • Respond to donor inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Operate automation systems (Trima and Alyx) and monitor reactions.
  • Maintain donor records, rebook for future donations, and ensure equipment maintenance.
  • Uphold regulatory and compliance requirements and contribute to a positive team culture.

Job description

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Responsibilities Performs donor screening (collects)
donor histories), mini-physical, and phlebotomy. Treats donors with
customer service excellence, presenting a positive image. Responds to
customer inquiries, requests and complaints with a timely and complete
response and escalates to leader when appropriate. Provides a
service-centric donor experience by interacting with donors
respectfully, compassionately, and professionally. May conduct
automation (Alyx and/or Trima), including recognizing and responding to
automation reactions. Recruits and converts donors for automation.
Contributes to and upholds a positive team culture and employee
experience by fostering teamwork, collaborating effectively, maintaining
an encouraging environment, and by supporting coworkers through kind and
respectful behaviors. Maintains product integrity and ensures proper
identification of all donors, performs routine maintenance on equipment,
and completes department records as needed. Observes donors for
reactions, provides reaction care and assists other staff in handling
reactions if needed. Rebooks donors for future donation appointments.
May be subject to additional background checks as required by sponsor if
asked to assist a mobile Performs other duties as required or assigned
which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job
