Job summary

Goodwill SEGA in Savannah, GA seeks a Donor Experience Lead to guide donation personnel and lead site operations. You will supervise staff, greet donors, train attendants, and maintain a safe, efficient donation site.

You will collaborate with management to schedule coverage, ensure compliance with SOPs, and deliver exceptional customer service while safeguarding donations and company assets.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or job-related experience.
• Good eyesight and color definition.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly assess goods and determine appropriate routing.
• Functional reading and writing skills.
• Ability to use a hand truck.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to every donor.
• Supervise daily activities and staff of assigned site.
• Greet donors promptly and assist with unloading donations, offer tax receipts, maintain counts.
• Assist manager with scheduling and ensure site coverage.
• Oversee training of new attendants and provide ongoing feedback.
• Conduct huddles and safety trainings with staff.
• Keep donation site clean and organized.
• Ensure donation site has necessary supplies and up-to-date maintenance.
• Coordinate with Transportation Department to meet site needs.
• Submit and review all assigned paperwork weekly.
• Safeguard donations and company property from damage or loss and report issues promptly.
• Ensure staff comply with SOPs.
• Address donor concerns and escalate when needed.
