Job summary

The National Park Foundation in Washington, DC seeks a highly skilled Manager, Donor Engagement to drive donor stewardship and engagement within the Philanthropy division. The role focuses on recognizing donors, managing portfolios, and coordinating donor communications to amplify impact.

As an individual contributor, you will partner with fundraisers, design stewardship plans, and oversee donor events and experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Minimum four years of donor relations or nonprofit fundraising experience.
• Strong writing, interpersonal, and project management skills.
• Experience with donor databases and CRM systems.
• Knowledge of fundraising concepts and national campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Stewardship mapping with gift officers to plan and track donor communications.
• Oversee Teddy Roosevelt Society recognition and related materials.
• Develop and refresh fundraising resources and branded materials.
• Manage lifetime stewardship portfolio and connect donors to gift officers.
• Document major gifts using gift agreements and align with reporting.
• Develop donor metrics in CRM and report on stewardship tactics.
• Plan and execute donor events and experiences.
• Coordinate donor travel planning and arrange personalized park itineraries.
• Draft donor communications and assemble mailings.
