Voices for Progress (V4P) is a Washington, D.C.–based nonprofit mobilizing major donors and philanthropic leaders to champion climate action, democracy, and social justice. The Development & Donor Organizing Manager will join the Engagement & Growth team to engage donor members in policy advocacy, political programming, and fundraising campaigns.

The role requires building close relationships with major donors and foundations, coordinating with senior staff, and occasionally working from donor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Five+ years of experience in related field (e.g. community organizing, donor organizing, political fundraising, nonprofit development, membership engagement).
• Strong progressive/liberal community organizing or related membership engagement experience.

Responsibilities

• Donor Member Activation on Policy and Political Programming: Motivate and facilitate donor members to take action on policy issues and campaigns and participate in programming.
• Donor Member Engagement: Establish and maintain personal relationships with donor members and strengthen community among members.
• Individual & Institutional Fundraising: Personally secure annual contributions from major donor members and coordinate foundation fundraising efforts.
