Job summary

Feed My Starving Children is seeking a fundraising professional in Tempe, AZ to build relationships with individual donors, churches, and corporations. You will solicit gifts ranging from $1,000 to $7,500 annually and coordinate with program teams to connect donor interests with FMSC funding opportunities.

The role requires a track record of meeting fundraising goals and excellent donor relations. The position is full-time with a typical Monday–Friday schedule and about 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field plus 2 years of development or sales experience.
• Experience meeting fundraising goals and closing asks with donors/prospects.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills; adept in public speaking.

Responsibilities

• Engage with current and prospective donors; make 20+ daily contacts via phone, email, handwritten notes and in-person meetings.
• Record donor touchpoints and update donor/prospect data in the database.
• Analyze portfolios, identify top-tier donors and set strategy to increase giving.
• Integrate marketing and communication pieces into donor touchpoints (annual report, holiday cards, etc).
• Share donor relations successes and best practices with peers.
• Collaborate with site manufacturing personnel on fundraising efforts.
• Recruit and manage department administrative volunteers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
