Job summary

School of the Art Institute of Chicago is seeking a Donor Relations and Engagement Coordinator to support the Office of Advancement. You will coordinate donor, alumni, and institutional engagement events, manage logistics, and maintain records with accuracy.

Under supervision, you will assist with stewardship activities, organize materials, and provide onsite event support. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of administrative support or event coordination experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for events.
• Experience in fundraising, nonprofit, higher education or arts organization.
• Experience using a donor database or CRM system.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistical arrangements for donor, alumni, and institutional events.
• Maintain event calendars, timelines, and tracking documents.
• Track RSVPs, guest lists, attendance and participation data.
• Prepare event materials such as invitations and name tags.
• Provide onsite support for events and assist with budget tracking.
