Triangle Community Foundation is seeking a Donor Engagement Officer to join the Philanthropic Engagement Team as a full-time exempt staff member. The role focuses on stewarding donor-advised fundholders through targeted grantmaking and fund management, while collaborating with partners to maximize community impact.

Qualifications

• Two- or four-year degree preferred.
• Three years of experience in development, donor relations or grantmaking.
• Excellent writing skills and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line stewardship to donor-advised fundholders and ensure philanthropic objectives through targeted grantmaking and fund management.
• Proactively manage portfolio of 100+ DAFs with advisory and administrative support.
• Cultivate and steward corporate and committee funds to meet community impact goals.
• Collaborate with Community Engagement to align opportunities with community issues.
• Connect donors with Foundation partners through engagement experiences and site visits.
• Highlight Foundation focus areas as funding opportunities and share staff-suggested grants with fundholders.
• Strategize and plan events for Philanthropic Engagement.
• Attend bi-weekly meetings to contribute to strategies and share knowledge.
• Maintain fundholder data and record donor engagement touchpoints in CSuite CRM.
