Job summary

The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta seeks a Philanthropic Associate (Engagement) to prospect, cultivate, and secure gifts from new and existing donors. You will build a donor pipeline, manage relationships, and collaborate on strategy and events to expand philanthropic support.

This hybrid role requires 2-5 years in fundraising, strong communication, and proficiency with donor databases; you will work closely with the Director of Donor Engagement to achieve goals and ensure equity in

Qualifications

• 2-5 years' experience with fundraising, donor service and stewardship.
• Ability to connect with high-net-worth individuals for philanthropic engagement.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and philanthropy databases.
• Strong organization, prioritization and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Solicit and secure new gifts from new and existing donors to grow invested assets.
• Manage a portfolio of prospective and current donors with outreach and meetings.
• Develop donor services and cultivation plans for new gifts and engagement.
• Support strategy development, outreach calendars, and events with philanthropy staff.
• Track solicitation history, move management, and donor engagement metrics.
• Assist with legacy society stewardship and coordination with professional advisors.
