Job summary

Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch Thrift Stores seeks team members to provide excellent customer service, assist donors, and help manage donated goods. You will load and unload trucks, sort donations, price items, and work with others to maintain a safe, welcoming thrift store environment.

Part-time shifts with rotating weekends; 18+ required; benefits include retirement, health, vision, and PTO. Join a mission-driven team supporting children and families served by the Ranch.

Qualifications

  • At least 18 years old.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; lift, stoop, bend, and twist.
  • National Registry Check
  • Motor Vehicle Insurance Check

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers and donors in a pleasant and efficient manner.
  • Assists donors in a pleasant and efficient manner. Lifts and carries goods for donors from and to their vehicles.
  • Loads and unloads trucks with bags and/or boxes of donated goods.
  • Sort through donations and allocate them to appropriate storage areas.
  • Work closely with other team members and communicate clearly with the store management when needed.
  • Pricing of goods/items as needed.
  • Maintains a safe working environment.
  • May occasionally supervise volunteer and community service workers.
  • Willingness to train new team members.

Schedule:

  • Ability to work 10 a.m.-6:30 p.m. shift and rotating weekends.
