Job summary

New York Common Pantry, a leading hunger-relief nonprofit, seeks a Development Operations Coordinator to manage donor data, run reports, and support fundraising activities on-site in New York, NY. You will ensure data integrity in Raiser's Edge NXT, process gifts and pledges, and collaborate across departments to advance donor relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of fundraising operations or nonprofit administration experience.
• Strong proficiency in Raiser’s Edge/NXT and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Classy/GoFundMePro and Omatic Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Support the Database Administrator in day-to-day management of Raiser's Edge NXT and system optimizations.
• Serve as secondary administrator for Raiser's Edge NXT and provide coverage.
• Assist with database configuration including custom fields, tables, codes, and settings.
• Coordinate with internal departments on database enhancements and process improvements; provide user training.
• Assist with testing and implementing new database features and upgrades.
• Maintain accurate constituent records in Raiser's Edge NXT and update donor information.
• Perform routine record maintenance including merges, duplicates, and data validation.
• Participate in data cleanup and database hygiene initiatives to ensure data integrity.
• Create and send timely donor acknowledgments reflecting NYCP’s mission.
• Assist with gift processing, fund allocation, pledges, and payments; oversee pledge tracking.
• Import gifts from third-party platforms daily.
• Generate and update reports (daily Gift Detail, weekly Major/VIP, quarterly Board Give/Get).
• Attend Blackbaud and other professional development training as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor information per NYCP policies.
• Support departmental projects and special initiatives.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
