Job summary

Orphan Outreach is seeking a part-time Donor Data Entry Specialist to ensure accurate and timely entry of donor gifts and constituent details into the donor database. The role emphasizes data integrity, with focus on receipts, acknowledgments, and downstream reporting.

Hours are approximately 20 hours per week, on-site in Plano, with in-office/hybrid options. The position collaborates with the Donor Data Analyst to maintain clean data for reliable analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; some college preferred.
• 1+ years data entry, administrative, or bookkeeping experience preferred.
• Familiarity with a CRM system (Virtuous, Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce or similar); training provided on Virtuous.

Responsibilities

• Process daily gift entries into the Virtuous CRM, including one-time, recurring, planned gifts, pledges, pledge payments, and gift asks.
• Assist with non-sponsorship recurring gifts and payment updates and cancellations.
• Code gifts accurately by fund, campaign, appeal, and designation per IRS standards and gift policy.
• Enter/update donor records with accuracy and consistency; flag exceptions for review.
• Generate and mail donor receipts on schedule; process in-honor and in-memory acknowledgments.
