Job summary

Global Links is seeking a Development & Communications Specialist to support fundraising, manage the donor CRM, and maintain the website and SOPs. You will lead donor acknowledgements, create digital content, and oversee social media channels and email campaigns.

In this role you will collaborate with leadership to ensure strategic messaging, uphold branding guidelines, and produce reports for campaigns while working evenings or weekends as needed. A mission-driven team environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Global Links' mission and programs.
• Effective oral and written communication; English fluency.
• Organizational and project management skills with strong follow-up.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information.
• Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
• Proficiency in Google Apps and Microsoft Office; basic design skills.
• Experience with photo/video editing software; basic graphic design.
• Self-motivated, team player, and strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Supports fundraising and engagement efforts; manages CRM donor database.
• Leads donor acknowledgements and correspondence; produces Salesforce reports.
• Maintains and updates the organization's website and SOPs.
• Manages social media channels and creates digital content for campaigns.
• Leads Mailchimp campaigns and e-newsletters; coordinates with IT/Salesforce teams.
• Tracks data across donation platforms and reconciles with finance.
• Supports overall communications strategy and branding initiatives.
