Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Michigan is seeking a dedicated Donation Attendant to greet donors, unload donations, and ensure proper donor receipts. You will count donations and sort items for processing while delivering friendly, helpful service to shoppers and donors alike.

This full-time onsite role requires flexibility for days, evenings, and weekends, with benefits including medical and life insurance, a store discount, and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Must be willing and able to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors graciously and promptly within 10 seconds.
• Unload donations from vehicles and offer tax receipts to donors.
• Report an accurate daily donor count.
• Accurately sort and prepare donations for further processing.
• Provide world class customer service to all customers and donors.
