Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is hiring for both Part-Time and Full-Time Retail Donation Attendant positions at the Oxford store, located at 190 S Washington, Oxford. The role pays $16.00 per hour and includes a 20% in-store discount. Career advancement through Goodwill Academy is offered.

Essential duties include assisting donors with donations, recording items, and maintaining clean backrooms and sales floors. Flexible shifts and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service to donors.
• Record donations accurately on the Donation Tracking form.
• Be able to lift up to 35 pounds and stand six to eight hours.
• Demonstrate reliability and punctuality with transportation.
• Learn and utilize safe lifting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to donors.

• Assist with janitorial duties and maintain cleanliness of backroom and sales floor.
• Maintain back room layout and orderliness for efficiency.

• Assist with customer/donor concerns, handling them professionally.
• Record all donors and donations accurately on the Donation Tracking form; record all gaylords/items accurately on the Bill of Lading.
• Assist with janitorial duties, maintaining the cleanliness in the backroom and on the sales floor.
• Maintain standard back room layout and orderliness to ensure efficiency.
