Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is seeking a motivated part-time Retail Donation Attendant for the Caro store at 1560 W. Caro Road. Starting wage is $15.00 per hour with opportunities for bonuses and a 20% discount on in-store purchases.

This role involves assisting donors, processing donations, and maintaining store cleanliness. Flexible shifts are required, including Sundays through Saturdays between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Flexible shifts including weekends and evenings.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
• Reliable transportation to report to work on time.

Responsibilities

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to donors, assisting them with donations in a friendly, professional, and safe manner.
• Assist with customer/donor concerns, handling them professionally.
• Record all donors and donations accurately on the Donation Tracking form; record all gaylords/items accurately on the Bill of Lading.
• Assist with janitorial duties, maintaining the cleanliness in the backroom and on the sales floor.
• Maintain standard back room layout and orderliness to ensure efficiency.

• Ability and willingness to work flexible shifts as assigned; Sunday – Saturday between thehours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Extra shifts may be required.
• Can you lift and carry35 poundswithout help?

• Are you able to stand six to eight hours a day?
• Do you have areliable means of transportationto report to work on time?
• Ability to learn and utilize safe lifting techniques.
• Ability to work in cold or warm temperatures, depending on weather and donation traffic
