Job summary

Goodwill Northern Michigan is seeking a Donation Attendant to greet donors, unload donations, and help maintain an organized donation area. The role includes operating a forklift and other equipment after training, while promoting donor loyalty and adhering to safety procedures.

You will work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment, assisting with donation processing as needed and ensuring a safe, customer-friendly experience for all donors.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to be trained to operate forklift and trash compactor is required.
• Standing and lifting are required for donation handling.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at donation door and unload donated goods from vehicles.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and compactor after training.
• Set up and take down gaylord/pallets and safely operate overhead doors.
• Maintain organization of donation drive area and keep area clean.
• Provide exceptional customer service and promote donor loyalty.
• Assist in processing donated goods as needed and support safety procedures.
