Job summary

American Swedish Institute in Minnesota seeks a Stewardship Specialist to create and execute communications and events that bring the organization’s mission to donors, members, and prospects. The role reports to the Director of Development and sits in a hybrid work environment.

You will draft stewardship communications, support executive donors, and help with grant proposals while coordinating six annual donor events and ensuring accurate donor recognition across collateral.

Qualifications

• Three years of work experience in communications, marketing, development, or a related field.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, and strong verbal communication.
• Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours for donor programming and events.
• Proficient using MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement annual development communications schedule.
• Draft all donor and member communications, including acknowledgments and annual reports.
• Support executive and staff in donor communications, including gift proposals and impact reports.
• Assist with grant proposals and reports to funders.
• Plan and execute approximately six annual events for donor cultivation.
