Job summary

East-West Ministries in Plano, Texas, seeks an experienced Events Director to lead the development-related events strategy, oversee the Event Team, and partner with vendors for high-level donor cultivation activities. You will coordinate logistics, manage budgets and timelines, and organize volunteers while upholding the organization’s mission and Biblical principles.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating donor-related events and budgets preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development and field events, researching stories and speakers
• Prepare agendas and materials for event meetings
• Oversee logistics for local and major events (venues, catering, travel, speakers)
• Manage RSVP, check-in, and event data tracking
• Track event budgets and timelines to ensure stewardship standards
• Collaborate with the EVP of Development and other leaders
• Handle administrative duties (expense reports, donor correspondence)
• Oversee event applications and volunteer organization for projects
• Organize volunteers for Development/Marketing initiatives
• Support field-related events and maintain volunteer communication
