Job summary

ADC Donor Specialist at Goodwill of North Georgia in Suwanee, GA, is a full-time role processing donated goods in a fast-paced environment, sorting items and preparing them for sale while upholding safety and customer service standards. The position offers weekly pay, PTO, health, dental and vision insurance, free uniforms, and access to job skills training at Goodwill Career Centers.

Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and operate forklifts when certified.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1+ years of production experience preferred
• Basic math and reading skills required
• Good oral and written communication in English and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work at any Goodwill ADC within the territory
• Must be 18+ to operate forklift (16–17 cannot operate forklifts/balers/compactors)

Responsibilities

• Display a professional, patient, and customer-first attitude
• Provide a donation receipt to donors at donation
• Address guest questions and resolve issues per SOPs
• Sort donations into designated categories
• Communicate effectively with management
• Follow training playbooks, e-learning and work instructions
• Promote teamwork with peers
• Maintain tidy donor door/ADC location
• Follow safety and security practices and report hazards
• Assist truck drivers with loading/unloading donations
• Attend required trainings and meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
