We provide paid training – no prior medical experience required; phlebotomy experience preferred.

As a member of the American Red Cross, you will assist with all steps of the blood collection process at our fixed site locations, creating a welcoming environment for donor volunteers and following safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Personally connect with donors, listen to their stories, and explain the impact of their donation.
• Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming and friendly environment for volunteer donors.
• Maintain attention to detail daily to ensure blood collected meets regulatory requirements and is transfusable.

Standard Schedule (St Peters, Missouri)

• Variable hours, 4 shifts of 10 hours.
• Some weekends required.
• Variable schedule may include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Schedule provided 2-3 weeks in advance.

Pay Information

• Starting rate $20.66 per hour, with potential increase based on experience.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent education and work experience.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience in a public setting.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull heavy weights, sit or stand for extended periods, and adapt to irregular hours and frequent schedule changes.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience (CNA, medical assistant, EMT, etc.).
• Prior leadership experience.
