Octapharma Plasma, Inc. in Omaha, NE seeks a Donor Center professional to evaluate donor eligibility for automated plasmapheresis and supervise approved immunizations in line with SOPs and regulations.

The role includes emergency care within licensure, training, and SOPs, and requires knowledge of all center operations. You will verify donor records in NexLynk, classify donors, counsel on deferred cases, and maintain thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a healthcare-related program.
• Current state license/certification (Physician, RN, LPN, EMT, or equivalent).
• Current CPR certification.
• One year of experience in hospital, field care, or plasma center settings preferred.
• Ability to work day, evening, weekend, holiday, and extended shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate donor eligibility through medical history reviews, physical assessments, and informed consent discussions per SOPs, FDA, CLIA, and cGMP.
• Review, document, and verify donor information, immunization records, and test results in NexLynk.
• Classify donors into appropriate programs and monitor for adverse reactions and provide care within training/licensure.
• Consult with center Licensed Physician on abnormal results and immunization orders.
• Counsel deferred donors, maintain confidentiality, and refer to health departments when needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation such as Physician Logs and donor eligibility assessments.
• Train as a Donor Center Technician I and serve as QA Backup when needed.
• Mentor and train new Medical Professionals as a Designated Trainer.
• Support center compliance with SOPs, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with team for efficient, donor-focused operations.
