Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
Ability to lift up to 5 lbs, with occasional up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs.
Glove use due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
Responsibilities
Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring safety.
Screen new and repeat donors; record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
Maintain donor charts and coordinate donor compensation in the Donor Information System.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and follow approved procedures.
Work a variety of shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
