LFB in Pueblo, CO is seeking compassionate medical staff to support donor programs. You will greet donors, register them, perform screening, and manage sample testing and eligibility assessments to ensure donor safety.

This role requires CPR certification and active healthcare licensure, plus strong communication, basic math, reading instructions, and computer skills. One year experience preferred; position is full-time with standard shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret directions and instructions.
• Perform basic math calculations.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Greet and register new plasma donors into the donor management system.
• Conduct screening procedures: blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight, arm checks.
• Perform finger sticks for hematocrit and total protein testing.
• Determine donor eligibility via medical history interview, physical exam and informed consent.
• Provide counseling regarding test results and donor information.
• Assist in donor investigations and post-donation information.
• Attend to donor adverse events during donation.
• Follow SOPs for emergencies and communicate with Medical Director.
• Maintain familiarity with state/federal regulations (OSHA, CLIA, cGMP).
• Learn and follow current company procedures and policies.
• Maintain professional demeanor with donors and staff.
• Receive performance feedback professionally.
• Attend scheduled shifts and meetings.
