Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Rialto, CA is seeking a part-time plasma donor screener and phlebotomist to support daily center operations. You report to the Plasma Center Manager and will greet donors, screen donors, and record vital signs to ensure donor safety and accurate compensation.

You will use the Donor Information System and follow approved procedures to identify opportunities for process improvements.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Current license or certification in the state where duties will be assigned: CPT1, CPT2, CLS, or MLT.
Minimum one year of experience in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.
Ability to walk, stand, lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees throughout the shift.
Ability to lift up to 5 lb; occasionally up to 32 lb; rarely up to 50 lb.
Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1), 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear.

Responsibilities

Answer phones, greet donors and focus on their needs while ensuring donor and team safety.
Screen new and repeat donors, take and record donor vital signs and finger‑stick results.
Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company‑approved procedures.
Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
