Job summary

Takeda is seeking a plasma donor screener to support plasma center operations in Joliet, IL. The role includes phlebotomy duties, donor screening, vital signs, and maintaining donor charts in the Donor Information System.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to walk/stand for shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet donors while ensuring safety.
• Screen donors and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System and prepare donor charts.
• Coordinate donor compensation and maintain accurate records.
• Support center processes and participate in shift coverage including weekends/holidays.
