Job summary

The Salvation Army in Waco, TX seeks a full-time driver/store associate to operate a Salvation Army truck on scheduled routes, pick up donations, deliver merchandise, and assist customers in the store. You will organize routes to save time and fuel, maintain donor relations, and ensure vehicle safety and maintenance.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license. The role requires physical mobility, the ability to lift heavy objects, and effective communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid State Driver's License is required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as part of duties.

Responsibilities

• Drives Salvation Army truck along scheduled route to pickups and deliveries.
• Lifts and stacks donations; prepares receipts and maintains donor relations.
• Maintains truck logs and performs routine vehicle maintenance.
• Assists customers and maintains warehouse cleanliness and organization.
