Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill is hiring for a Retail Processor in Shawnee to support donations, pricing, and customer service at our Shawnee Store - Mission team. This full-time, hourly role pays $15.50 per hour with a monthly bonus potential up to $250 and eligible benefits.

Qualifications

• No degree required; HS Diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Handles all donations with care and respect.
• Sorts donated goods and purchased goods into categories (sales floor, seasonal, online, outlet, trash).
• Inspects items to distinguish quality for sales, recycling or online sale.
• Identify and price items using AMI pricing software.
• Maintain high quality and quantity standards while working quickly and steadily.
• Stock, straighten, rotate and keep the store area clean and orderly.
• Provide positive customer service to in-person and phone customers.
• Build positive relationships with team members and leadership; work cross-functionally.
• Follow safety practices and keep aisles clear and hazard-free.
• Adhere to dress code and protect agency assets from theft or damage.
• All other duties as assigned.
