Job summary

Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity is seeking a friendly Stopgap Team member to assist donors with drop-offs, paperwork, and gratitude at the ReStore. You will help process donations, greet customers, and keep the sale floor organized with donated items.

You will also supervise volunteers, work with floor associates, and cross-train on cash register operations to support the merchandise flow and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Active listening and friendly, helpful customer interactions required.
• Customer service and sales experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Forklift certification recommended; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist donors with drop-offs, paperwork, and gratitude.
• Process and test/clean donations, ensuring quality standards.
• Greet customers and maintain welcoming store environment.
• Stock and merchandise donated/purchased products on shelves and displays.
• Operate cash registers and process payments with accuracy.
• Supervise volunteers and coordinate with floor staff on tasks.
